All you line dancers and "would be" line dancers, get ready for the best jamboree of the season (at least we think so) which is Wednesday, Jan. 23. Prepare for a good time and lots of fun. Everyone is invited from spectators and beginners to experienced dancers.
The doors open in the MMC's East ballroom at 8:30 a.m. where a continental breakfast is available. To make things run more smoothly, we are adding a second breakfast table. Dancing begins at 9:30 a.m. with the well-known Joanne Brady supplying the music and MCing. The program includes dance groups who demonstrate a dance and then provide anyone who wishes to learn the dance with instructions, as well as an opportunity to do it. Dances vary in difficulty, but most are on the beginner or intermediate level. If you have always wanted to try line dancing, this is a great time! Also available is an opportunity to participate in a silent auction, as well as a 50/25/25 raffle.
Tickets on sale now at MMC Member Services desk from Monday through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or reserved by calling Patsy at 302-734-1200, ext. 167. Please note that reserved tickets must be paid for by Jan. 9. If you wish to attend with a group, it is advisable to have one person purchase the tickets for the entire group to insure that you are seated together. The cost is $10 per person which includes your continental breakfast and your lunch.
Since this is usually a sold out event, tickets sell very quickly so it is suggested that you secure yours as soon as possible.
