Aurich Fitness Center and Pool
MMC features a fitness center and heated pool. They offer classes, personal training, swim lessons and a new stroke recovery support program. There is a separate fee for pool & fitness membership with several options - monthly, punch cards, and if your Medicare insurance supplement offers it - we are a Silver Sneakers, Renew Active and Silver & Fit participating facility.
Vitas offers a FREE once a month, drop-in, support session. Drop in on the second Wednesday of the month from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in the Modern Maturity Center Activity Room #5 to talk to a trained bereavement specialist. You must be a member of the Modern Maturity Center to participate.
Dr. Gemignani will be at to provide foot health assessments, clip toenails and buff feet. Each appointment is scheduled for 15 minutes and are held in Activity Room #6. The cost of the appointments is $35.00 for members and $40.00 for non-members. Neither private insurance nor Medicare are accepted for this service. Lisa a licensed massage therapist. She offers a gentler alternative to a traditional massage with her "soft touch" massages. This style of massage is ideal for individuals who bruise easily, suffer from arthritis, are fragile or cannot tolerate traditional massages. Massages are offered while fully clothed and can be performed on a table or chair. Lisa offers 30 minute massages. Wednesday evening appointments are also available.. The cost is $20.00 for members and $35.00 for non-members. Contact Member Services for an appointment at least 24 hours in advance.Advance payment is required.
