Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese experience to balance the mind and body by allowing Chi or Energy to flow through the body smoothly using deep relaxed breathing, gentle stretches and movements, and a clear focused mind.
The class is led by Ran Griem, RN, Shiatsu Practitioner.Class size is limited to 15 participants. Cost for eight classes is $40 for members and $50 for non-members.
With its slow and flowing Tai Chi movements to its fast and powerful Wushu moves, this form has become very popular. A prerequisite is that students must have already participated in one of Ran's Tai Chi classes.

Betsy's Chair Yoga is taught by Betsy Gustafson who is well-known in the community from teaching exercise classes for over 25 years. Betsy is a certified group exercise instructor, yoga and Pilates instructor and certified personal trainer. She is also a senior exercise specialist.
Participants can be brand new to yoga or have previous experience. Betsy encourages your body to improve from its current capability to a better level. The class includes standing poses, seated poses, and may include the use of chairs to enhance capability. Classes end with a relaxation segment for participants to leave feeling renewed and refreshed. Yoga is known for enhancing the strength and flexibility of the muscles in a gentle and effective way. It can improve posture and balance, and reduce stress. Non-members welcome.
Designed for beginners of Tai Chi or those who have had trouble learning complicated Tai Chi forms. It emphasizes the health benefits for mind, body, and spirit, yet is fun, varied and relaxing to learn.
Dancing in your Chair it's new it's fun it's free!!!
This is a fun low impact class where Ida will have you moving in your seat to great music. Everything is done safely in a chair. NO STANDING REQUIRED. You will do aerobic exercises ,stretching. Latin dancing, Line Dancing and more. Let's get those bodies moving!
Join in the fun every Friday at the Wellness Center pool for a lively game of volleyball from 2 to 4 p.m. Cost is only $2 a day or a 24 visit punch card is available for $48 at MMC Member Services.

The Wellness Center is happy to announce Aqua Mobility class. This class offers whole body gentle movements. Great for arthritis, fibromyalgia, diabetes, high blood pressure, andpre/post surgery. Helps build strength, balance and flexibility. Register at Member Services. Punch cards are $42 for 12 classes.
